Next "Winter" Market - March 27th

Dear Friends of the Winter - or Spring! - Farmers' Market, 

Spring is just a day away and I know that I couldn't be happier to see all the recent sunshine! It reminds me that warmer weather - and the bountiful garden season - is just around the corner!

What better way to get in the mood for Spring than to come visit the next "Winter" Farmers' Market on Saturday, March 27th? With Easter fast approaching, the Market is the perfect place to pick up fresh ham, lamb, baked goods, Easter chocolates & treats, or even some all-natural skin care to give your Easter feasts and baskets that special local touch.  As always, the Market will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Swindlers' & Sons Florists (321 W. Locust St., Wilmington, Ohio).

For you convenience, I have including links to the updated product list (Click HERE for the list), the latest order form (Click HERE for the form), or you can find both documents online at www.clintoncountyfarmersmarket.com.

Just as a reminder....

The Winter Market does offer pre-orders. Just return the order form via email, fax, or post or order online at www.clintoncountyfarmersmarket.com. All orders are due by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 23rd.

Your orders will be available for pick-up and payment at the Market on Saturday, March 27th, at Swindlers & Sons Florists between the hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The orders and payments will be separated by specific vendors and are payable by cash or personal check.

While pre-orders are encouraged, our vendors will still have a variety of products available for sale on the morning of the Market.

Watch for updates of the Market continuing into April and May! The 2010 Summer Winter Market will start on Saturday, June 5th, in the downtown location.

Next "Winter" Market - March 27th

Spring is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than to join your friends and favorite hometown farmers at the next "Winter" Farmers' Market on Saturday, March 27th, at Swindlers & Sons Florists from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. 

With Easter only a week later, the Market will be the perfect place to fill your holiday feasts - and Easter baskets - with the freshest, most local meats, baked goods, sweet treats, and more!

Winter Market at the Community Business Expo

The Clinton County Winter Farmers’ Market will be participating in the 2010 Community Business Expo on Friday, March 5, and Saturday, March 6. Held at Roberts’ Arena (4095 St. Rte. 730), the Community Business Expo will feature 46 local businesses, restaurants, and community organizations. 

The Winter Farmers’ Market will be in attendance offering the same great fresh baked goods, local meats, and assorted homemade, homegrown products that you have come to love at our normal markets. Additionally, Sycamore Tree General Store will be holding soil block demonstrations and providing gardening tips for those individuals wanting to get a jump-start on spring planting. There will be no pre-orders for this particular Market.

The Community Business Expo is free to the public, and will be open from 12:00 – 5:00 pm on Friday, and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday. The Expo is sponsored by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
