Celebrate July 4th with the Farmers' Market!

Join us for the Saturday, July 3rd Farmers' Market and celebrate Independence Day with the freshest, tastiest local food around! Our 4th of July celebrations feature our Star-Spangled Menu that is sure to wow your holiday guests (find the menu HERE or pick it up at the Market on Saturday). 

We will also be handing out delicious samples and enjoying live music from Brother Sister Turtle Bear. 


We are looking forward to a day of great weather, great food, and great atmosphere. And if that isn't tempting enough for you... we will have tomatoes and sweet corn available for your 4th of July cookouts!

I am happy to announce that the start of the exciting 2010 summer Farmers' Market season is just around the corner! 


The Clinton County Farmers' Market at the Mural will begin this Saturday, June 5th, from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. The Market will continue to run throughout the summer on Saturdays (8:30 am - 12:00 pm) and Wednesdays (1:30 - 5:30 pm). 

We are all eager to settle into our second year in the Mural Parking Lot (81 W. Main St., Wilmington) and you can look forward to a summer of fun and exciting events and activities at the Market at the Mural. You can also expect to see some new faces at the Market this year as we welcome first-time vendors: Naturally Happy Gardens, the Garden Spot, For Heaven's Cakes, and artisan Andrea Pletcher. The Market also has a brand new Board of Directors who will be on hand throughout the season in the new Market Information Booth. 


Another exciting development to the 2010 summer Market is the introduction of a pre-order system through Local Dirt! Just follow these easy steps to be able to make pre-orders from participating vendors:


1. Sign up for a free "Individual" account at www.localdirt.com (they just ask for basic contact information and for a user name and password).


2. Once you've signed up, you can find the Clinton County Farmers' Market profile at  http://www.localdirt.com/ccfarmersmarket.


3. From our profile, you can search for products from participating vendors, make a pre-order, and simply pick it up and pay for it at the vendor's booth on Market days. Once you place an order, you will receive an invoice from the website.


Local Dirt is an exciting addition to our Market that makes sure you never miss out on your favorite meats, baked goods, or produce! Being a new system, we will be working the kinks out at the beginning of the Market so please be patient as the Market develops their Local Dirt presence. 


From fresh picked produce to delicious homemade treats, from herbs and preserves to local meats and much more, you can find the freshest local products from your favorite hometown farmers at the Clinton County Farmers Market at the Mural!
