Dear Friends of the Clinton County Farmers' Market,

You don't have to wait all week to get your favorite Summer Farmers' Market treats! Join us at the Mural (81 West Main Street, Wilmington) tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8th, during our new weekday hours 4:00 - 7:00 pm!

Our "after-work" hours make the Market the perfect place to swing by on your way home for fresh, local, homegrown and homemade products! And while our Wednesday markets are traditionally smaller than our weekend ones, with only a handful of vendors starting the season, don't let our smaller size fool you. You can still find local meat, eggs, spring produce, and a variety of mouthwatering baked goods!

Don't forget to bring the whole family along for our STORY TELLING HOUR with Priscilla Clark from the Wilmington Public Library. This fun and free event runs from 6:00 - 7:00 pm and is the perfect way to keep kids occupied while parents can shop!

-------

We hope to see you this Saturday, June 11th, from 8:30 am - Noon as the Market kicks off our second Saturdays "Health and Wellness" theme! We will also be featuring live music from the talented Steve Gregory from 10 am - Noon.

Get into shape for the summer with TWO FREE FITNESS CLASSES at the Market. Both classes will take place in the General Denver's side parking lot (next to the patio).

Market sponsor, Main Street Yoga Center, will start the market day off right with a free Yoga class from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

Later in the Market day, our neighbor, Get Fit Personal Training and Group Fitness, will spice things up with a free Zumba class from 11 am - Noon. Check out their great Market special:

Join GET FIT at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, June 11th for a FREE Zumba class and receive a FREE pass for your next class! Or, purchase a 10-class punchcard for only $30! That's only $3/class! Offer good Saturday, June 11th only!

WEATHER ADVISORY

Due to the unusually wet Spring, many of our vendors (like the majority of farmers in this area) were not able to plant their gardens and fields until later in the season. This means that the fresh fruits and veggies that are the stars of our Market will be making later appearances than usual this season. This doesn't mean that you won't be able to get your favorite produce at the Market (you know that's where they taste the best!), it just means that we all have to be a little more patient in getting to enjoy them. We appreciate your understanding!
