Now Accepting Vendors for the 2026 Market Season!

We are currently prioritizing applications from FOOD vendors - including farms, growers, bakers, and ready-to-eat food producers. If you grow it, raise it, bake it, or cook it, we want to hear from you first! We will also be accepting a limited number of 'artisan' and 'specialty product' vendors (handmade goods, home products, etc.) as secondary placements to help round out the market experience. Priority placement given to early applicants.

Our 2026 season runs Saturdays from May 30 through October 3, 8:30 AM to Noon at the Courthouse Square in downtown Wilmington.

Review our handbook below and email the complete the application (page 10-11) to [email protected]

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Do I need insurance?
Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry general liability insurance. While insurance is no longer required for participation in the Clinton County Farmers Market, vendors are responsible for their own products, setup, and any incidents that may occur within their space. Affordable coverage options are available for vendors who do not already carry insurance, such as short-term or event-based policies (such as ACT Insurance), coverage through a farm policy, homeowners policy (for some cottage food producers), or through affiliated organizations such as guilds or associations. The Clinton County Farmers Market and Energize Clinton County assume no liability for vendor products, activities, damages, or incidents.

  2. How much does it cost to be a vendor?
Fees are non-refundable and must be paid prior to the start of the market season unless other arrangements have been approved by market management. Vendors should submit their application and wait for approval before arranging payment. Fees are structured in a tier priced system:
    $100 = Full season (19 Saturdays for 2026 Season)
    $50 = Half season (9 Saturdays for 2026 Season) *
    $15 = Single Saturday set up *
$5 = Kids Market Single set up
    * = must coordinate dates with manager prior to Market day

  3. What size space do vendors receive?
Each vendor space accommodates a 10x10 tent, with room for vehicles or trailers as needed.

  4. Can I sell any product I want?
All products must be approved. The market does not guarantee exclusivity for any one product type.

  5. When is the Market? What time is setup?
The Market takes place on Saturdays with shopping from 8:30am until noon. We ask that vendors are set up, ready to sell by 8:15am.
