Membership in Kids' Club entitles a child to receive $3 in Kids' Club tokens to spend on fresh fruits or veggies for every Saturday market they attend! Senior Days Residents of the Prairie Oaks Village and Blanchester Friends senior living communities are eligible to participate in Senior Day once a month . Eligible seniors may sign-up with their residency manager to receive FREE transportation to the Market, as well as a voucher redeemable for $10 in tokens to be spent on healthy vegetables, meats, or honey. Double Your Bucks Participants in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are eligible to receive up to $10 in market tokens when they use their food assistance benefits at the Market! When participants purchase tokens using their SNAP/EBT cards, the Market will "double their bucks" by matching every dollar they spend up to $10. The Clinton County Farmers' Market is pleased to partner with the Clinton County Health Dept/WIC and the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio Agency in 2024.
WIC Markets In partnership with the Clinton County Health Department, the Farmers' Market hosts WIC staff at various market dates for participants in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Recipients receive $20 in vouchers from the WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program to be spent on healthy, locally-grown fruits and vegetables.
COA Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program In partnership with the Council on Aging (COA) of Southwestern Ohio, the Clinton County Farmers Market can accept Senior Farmers' Market cards from eligible seniors who have applied to the COA and been approved. Seniors receive $50.00 worth of tokens to use to purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, honey, and fresh cut herbs. Applications are available through the Council on Aging Southwestern Ohio agency.
